There’s nothing worse than a dark stain on a light colored carpet. We have a tip for cleaning it up, and would always suggest to have a professional remove it to keep your home looking good.

When trying to get a stain out use a clean, slightly wet white cloth and pat from the outside in, never scrub. Doing so will lead to spreading, and also increasing the chance that you are actually making the stain worse by working into the fabric. While patting down the stain, you should see the it coming off on the cloth. Repeat this process until you have no more color transfer onto your cloth. Then pat with a dry white cloth until the spot if completely dry.
